Port Douglas Tennis Club is a bright, happy and welcoming club, offering tennis at all levels for visitors and locals alike

We are a relatively small club but have an enthusiastic committee and membership who will make you welcome

Our Courts have recently been upgraded with two Synthetic grass courts and one hard court (synpave) and upgraded lighting.

Equipment  is available if you didn't bring any with you.

Social Tennis

The Club offers social tennis on week nights

Men’s tennis on Tuesday Night
Ladies tennis on Wednesday Night
Mixed tennis on Friday Night

Night tennis commences at 6pm and visitors are always welcome.

Charges each night are $5 for members, $10 for visitors.

The Club calendar also includes other regular events during the year

Parent – Child tournaments, as well as popular reciprocal social
visits to neighbouring clubs

About

The Port Douglas Tennis Club has operated in the town since 1995 and provides social and competitive tennis to both locals and visitors alike in the local area. The club is only a few minutes walk from the centre of Port Douglas on Davidson Street and offers three synthetic grass courts which are all lit for night tennis.

Players are drawn to the courts as we are a very friendly club with members of all ages, abilities and walks of life. The club runs a number of organised tennis nights for members and non-members alike and also runs regular competitions.

The town of Port Douglas loves to welcome new travelers or new residents and the Port Douglas Tennis Club is no different, so don’t be afraid to become a member.

The Port Douglas tennis courts can be hired on casual basis by holiday makers and locals alike and the club also has a great resident tennis coach in Port Douglas should you wish to improve your game.
